River’s Rest Marina & Resort

Scope of Work:

National Land Lease Capital (NLLC) developers hired Retro Hospitality to assist with the branding, marketing, and positioning of their new acquisition, River’s Rest Marina & Resort. NLLC is redeveloping the 16.5-acre parcel on the beautiful Chickahominy River in Charles City County, VA. Construction concluded in 2021. River’s Rest Marina & Resort now offers adventurers easy access to a waterfront getaway.

Project Overview:

Completed in 2021, River’s Rest Marina & Resort offers a refreshed waterfront retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. The property features a fully rebuilt marina with 68 seasonally leased boat slips, a boat launch, and an on-site fish and tackle store. Accommodations include 126 brand-new RV and Park Model Tiny Home sites, available seasonally, and a remodeled 21-room inn catering to anglers and adventurers. The resort is also home to the popular Blue Heron seafood restaurant, a favorite among boaters, bikers, and locals. Conveniently located between Richmond and Williamsburg, River’s Rest sits between miles 10 and 12 of Virginia’s Cap to Cap Trail, providing easy access to both land and water recreation.
